Chapter 5 - Alarms

Use an ALARM to be notified when a sensor reading hits a specific value – frost for example. The system can notify you and/or anyone you program by phone or Email up to 9 repetitions

Step 1

Open the ALARM page

Click “ADD STATION” to select a station

Select a SENSOR to monitor

Click “MANUALLY ADD ALARM”


Step 2

The COLOR KEY indicates the ALARM STATUS.

Click the EDIT button to edit or setup an alarm

Step 3 - ALARM PROPERTIES (when)

*** Select LESS THAN <=
or MORE THAN >=  
never select EQUAL=

Set TEMP and AVG.TIME

Optionally:
set BLACKOUT (no alarm) CHECKBOX and TIMES 

Step 4 – ALARM PROPERTIES (who)
TrainingGuideChapter5-d Set the TRIGGER (repeat calls)

Enter a “PHONE NUMBER” and click “ADD” (repeat for all phones to be called)

Optionally:
Set OUT of RANGE CHECKBOX and TIMEOUT


Step 5

Arm the ALARM by clicking the ALARM BUTTON

The alarm bar COLOR changes to green

Step 6
TrainingGuideChapter5-f
Disarm the ALARM by clicking the DISARM BUTTON (again)

The alarm bar COLOR changes back to orange

Step 7
TrainingGuideChapter5-g 
Once the system has sent out an alarm (alarm bar is red) it must be reset before it can alarm again.

Click on the RESET button
